Count your blessings. It’s an old saying. In today’s language, the buzzword is gratitude. I’ve been taking stock of my blessings in the last few days and no one who knows me would be surprised to hear me say that Teddy is one of my greatest blessings. I waited so long to be able to have him in my life that I consider his presence to be a glorious miracle. The gift is ability to recognise this. If we can spot our blessings and not take them for granted, our lives are truly blessed.
