The End Of The Walk

It was the end of a lovely autumn walk. The Sun was low in the sky. I turned to get into the car and saw the Sun blazing behind me. It had been a mostly cloudy walk, but suddenly the Sun had come out. Had I not turned back, I would have missed it. As I stood mesmerised, I started taking pictures. Then I just stood. In glorious moments like these, I am reminded of the beauty of nature. I am also reminded that one perspective is very limited. The Sun had been behind me. I would not have known it, had I not turned around. Listening to other people’s perspectives can have the same illuminary effect. The result is a bigger picture, and deeper understanding.
